Welcome to the dynamic world of improvisational comedy, where every moment on stage is an opportunity to connect, entertain, and inspire. As an actor preparing for an improv scene, there are numerous artistic elements to consider: the clarity of your voice, the expressiveness of your movements, your ability to engage the audience, and the necessity of being humorous, believable, and captivating. Throughout my extensive career, I’ve developed a unique method designed to align an actor’s mind and energy, setting the stage for success.
When I stray from this method, I inevitably regret it. I’ve witnessed students and top performers thrive or falter based on their adherence to this formula. I call this method PFWP, which stands for Project, Feel, Want, and Pursue. This class delves into each step of this process, illustrating how these elements can create rewarding experiences for both actors and audiences.
